Our Vision
At Thinklude Technologies, we envision a world where communication barriers are a thing of the past. We are committed to fostering inclusivity and accessibility for all, by leveraging the power of cutting-edge technology.
Our Story
Founded by Prerit Rathi and Pranjal Rastogi, both second-year BTech students at Plaksha, Thinklude Technologies was born out of a shared passion for using technology to solve real-world problems.
Our journey began with a stark realization: India has the world's largest deaf and mute population, with approximately 63 million individuals, but only 314 certified Indian Sign Language (ISL) interpreters. This glaring disparity translates to one interpreter for every 200,000 individuals, leading to widespread social isolation and communication barriers.
Determined to make a difference, we set out to develop a solution that would bridge this significant gap. Our flagship product, Indriyeah, is an AI-enabled software designed to break down communication barriers between the deaf and hearing communities. Using advanced generative techniques and computer vision, Indriyeah translates spoken language into ISL and vice versa in real-time, enabling seamless and effective communication.
The Problem
India's deaf and mute population faces significant challenges due to the severe shortage of ISL interpreters. This shortage contributes to social isolation, with 68% of the hearing-impaired population feeling socially isolated and 38% avoiding social situations altogether, according to surveys by the Royal National Institute for Deaf People. We believe that everyone deserves to feel included and be able to communicate freely, and that's why we developed Indriyeah.
The Solution: Indriyeah
Indriyeah is our innovative solution to the communication barrier between individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and those who are not proficient in sign language. By converting speech to ISL and ISL to speech in real-time, Indriyeah empowers the deaf community to interact confidently and effortlessly with the hearing world. This technology not only facilitates everyday conversations but also enhances inclusivity in workplaces, businesses, and public spaces.
